Accreditation

Accreditation assures the student that the education offered at Alaska Bible College is of high quality. ABC has achieved or surpassed the performance standards established by the accrediting association. Accredited status aids the student in the transfer of credit. However, the transfer of credit is always at the discretion of the receiving school.

Accreditation

Alaska Bible College is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation (COA) of the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education, to grant certificates and degrees at the Associate and Baccalaureate levels.

Accreditation documents are available through the Academic Administration Office and may be reviewed upon request.

Authorization

Alaska Bible College is authorized to operate as a college in the state of Alaska by the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education. Documents of authorization are posted publically for review. Alaska Bible College is approved for federal education benefits to qualified students under provisions of various Veterans Administration Educational Assistance Programs.
