Student Ministry Training program at Alaska Bible College seeks to bring glory to God by advancing his kingdom through evangelism, discipleship, and the meeting of human needs. Our mission at ABC is to equip students for a lifetime of loving service, and Student Ministry Training is designed to contribute significantly to that mission. Because application of classroom learning is essential to the educational process, students will be involved in a variety of practical ministries.

A Student Ministry Training  assignment is required for each semester in all programs attended at ABC. Details of this program are found in the Guide to Student Ministry Training. Copies can be obtained from the Student Ministry Training Coordinator via email to jgreeson@akbible.edu.

Objectives
Student Ministry Training will help students to:

• Integrate classroom learning with practical ministry.
• Become aware of human needs and corresponding opportunities for service.
• Clearly convey biblical truth to those in need.
• Develop spiritual gifts and refine ministry skills.
• Develop faithfulness and accountability in Christian ministry.
