Dean of Women, Receptionist
B.A. Frontier School of the Bible
When
did you start serving at ABC? 2006
Why are you serving at ABC; what are
you passionate about?
I am serving at ABC because I desire to see
students grow in their personal relationship with the Lord. Studying the
Bible, getting to know who God is through the Word, and building
relationships with other believers are basic for every believer. After
attending Bible school myself I can see what a great benefit it is to
have a college dedicated to teaching a solid foundation through
Scripture and people willing to invest time into another's life, as well
as academics.
A favorite passage of scripture or a
favorite saying: 2 Tim. 1:7 “God is God and I am not.”
Favorite websites, authors or books:
www.clarityministries.org,
www.wikipedia.com,
www.dayspring.com,
www.papercuttingsbyalison.com,
www.ebay.com. The
Bible would have to be my favorite book, then; The Bruised Reed
by Richard Sibbes, Love, Sex, and Lasting Relationships by Chip
Ingram, Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers, Passion and Purity
by Elisabeth Elliot, Fishing for Men by Richard A. Seymour, A
Woman After God's Own Heart by Elizabeth George, Hue and Cry
by Elizabeth Yates, The Herb of Grace by Elizabeth Goudge and
“The Mrs. Pollifax” mysteries. Anything by: C.S. Lewis, Elizabeth Goudge,
Elisabeth Elliot, Dorothy Sayers, Warren Wiersbe, Eric and Leslie Ludy,
Dee Henderson
Personal interests, hobbies or activities: Bible study, youth
group helper, besides those, a wide variety of: music to strategy games,
hand crafts to reading, outdoor activities year round to indoor hanging
out, finding out random bits of information. My interests change daily.
