When did you start serving at ABC? 1989

Why are you serving at ABC; what are you passionate about?
I started working at ABC when my husband died 18 years ago and I needed a reason to get up in the morning. I wanted something I could do for my Lord. Now I work here because I believe the Lord still wants me to and I believe I am needed. I am passionate about my relationship with Jesus, the beautiful family he has given me, and I pray that people can see Jesus' love in me.

A favorite passage of scripture or a favorite saying: "Only one life, twill soon be past and only what’s done for Christ will last." One of my favorite verses is Isaiah 41:10 "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."

Favorite websites, authors or books: A couple of my favorite authors are Randy Alcorn and Karen Kingsbury.

Personal interests, hobbies or activities: I really enjoy people and visiting with them, and my family is very important to me. My hobbies are knitting, reading and watching a good movie now and then. As for activities I guess walking my dog when weather is good, visiting with my friends, and going to basketball and volleyball games my grandkids are playing. I spend a lot of time sitting on the bleachers in the gym at the public school in the winter.
