When did you start serving at ABC? 2004

Why are you serving at ABC; what are you passionate about? Music has always been very important in my life. I am happy to help people understand and enjoy music in their lives.

A favorite passage of scripture or a favorite saying: I have often quoted Psalm 71:16 "...I will go in the strength of the Lord God I will make mention of His righteousness..." Then one day I continued reading in this same chapter and now I am adding verses 17 and 18 "...O God, you have taught me from my youth and hitherto have declared your wondrous works. Now also when I am old and grey headed, O God, forsake me not until I have shown your strength to this generation and your power to everyone that is to come."

Favorite websites, authors or books: Sword & Scalpel, an account of a missionary doctor in Africa written by a friend of ours, Lorry Lutz, and other books about the lives of missionaries; Alaska Not for a Woman! by Mary Carey, John Grisham books, a book about Alaska by Louis L'Amour, Sitka, Follow the River by James Alexander, Thom, a true story of a woman in the settling of the U.S. I rarely read series books but I do like the Mitford books by Jan Karon, Readers Digest condensed books and many, many more.

Personal interests, hobbies or activities: I like to travel, shop, sew, knit, paint, swim and spend time with my husband of 52 years and our family who, unfortunately, live far from here.
