When did you start serving at ABC? 1990

Why are you serving at ABC; what are you passionate about?
One of my passions is teaching the Word of God, helping the students understand the meaning for the original readers and then helping them make valid application for their lives today. The other is preparing students to be effective Christian leaders wherever God places them.

A favorite passage of scripture or a favorite saying: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 is my favorite verse, and Psalm 103 is a favorite passage.

Favorite websites, authors or books: Charles Ryrie, Charles Swindoll, and Philip Yancey.

Personal interests, hobbies or activities: I don't have any serious hobbies, but I enjoy athletics, especially basketball, softball, and ping pong. Other favorite activities include reading, splitting wood, chess, sudoku, and web cams and grandchildren.
