Activities
During the academic year, various social activities are scheduled. These
may include banquets, outdoor recreation, informal game times, service
projects, dorm outings, community programs, and annual all-school
retreats. Current Event CalendarSporting Activities
Fishing and hunting are available for interested and licensed students.
Early in the fall hiking, canoeing, rafting, and mountain biking can be
done. In October through March opportunities abound for cross-country
skiing, snowboarding, skating, winter camping, dog sledding, and even
snowshoeing. ABC maintains a two-mile cross-country ski trail with
access to many miles of ungroomed trails. Cross-country ski equipment
and snowshoes are available through the College. Students are welcome to
participate in community volleyball and basketball or join pick-up games
in the Murdock Center.
Student Wives’ Fellowship
SWF provides weekly fellowship for the wives of students at Alaska Bible
College. Bible studies, prayer times, crafts, service projects, and
family activities are planned to support student families.
