Standards of
Conduct
Alaska Bible College recognizes that adherence to the College's
guidelines for conduct does not improve a person's standing before God.
It does, however, strengthen the life and testimony of both the student
and the College. The use of illegal drugs, narcotics, alcohol, and
tobacco in any form is inconsistent with a Christian's responsibility to
care for the body God has given each of us. The possession or use of
these substances is prohibited.
Other specific guidelines for conduct are contained in the
Student Handbook. Any conduct that
adversely affects relationships with God and/or man is considered
inappropriate by Alaska bible College. The student who fails to maintain
College guidelines will be disciplined with the intended result of fully
restoring the student to right relationships. The reason for and nature
of any discipline will be clearly communicated to the student. A student
who fails to comply with the discipline of the College may ultimately be
dismissed. If such action is necessary, the dismissal and conditions for
reinstatement as a student in good standing at Alaska Bible College will
be communicated in writing to the student. |
