Transfer your credits
Alaska Bible College accepts transfer credits from other accredited institutions, and ABC credits are generally transferable to other accredited schools.
Accreditation does not guarantee acceptance of credits. Each institution sets its own transfer policies and makes the final decision.
Transferring credits to ABC
If you attended another college or completed Advanced Placement (AP) courses in high school, arrange for your transcripts to be sent to Alaska Bible College—even if the previous institution was not accredited.
The Academic Dean and Registrar review course content, program requirements, the grade received, and the accreditation status of the original institution.
Credits with a minimum grade of “C” may transfer when they meet program requirements or qualify as elective credits.
Credits are evaluated after the student completes the first semester at ABC; satisfactory performance is required for validation.
Semester-system courses are accepted one-to-one. One quarter hour equals two-thirds of a semester hour; for example, 3 quarter hours equal 2 semester hours.
Transferring credits from ABC
ABC’s accreditation supports students in the transfer of credits to other institutions. Acceptance is ultimately determined by the receiving school, and ABC cannot guarantee that credits earned here will transfer.
Successful transfer typically depends on how closely the courses align with the receiving institution’s curriculum requirements. Contact that school early for a written evaluation whenever possible.
Credit transfer agreements
Credit-transfer and articulation agreements streamline movement between specific institutions. Qualifying credits from these partner schools transfer to Alaska Bible College.
