Alaska Bible College is excited to welcome Matthew and Christy Coté as the latest family to join the faculty. Matthew began teaching as an adjunct instructor in Fall 2016, and was invited to join the regular faculty in January. Matthew will teach in the areas of philosophy, systematic theology, and English. In addition to teaching classes, Matthew will serve as Vice President for Business Administration. His wife Christy will serve as Receptionist and Director of Financial Aid.
“We are both passionate about equipping people to know what they believe, why they believe it, and to apply that truth consistently in their lives as disciples of Jesus Christ,” said Matthew. In their free time, Matthew and Christy enjoy playing with their dogs, reading, and being outdoors.
Matthew and Christy moved to Alaska from Wisconsin in 2014 as missionaries with Victory Bible Camp. Matthew served as Operations Director and taught in their Outpost Program. Christy was the camp’s receptionist. Matthew holds a B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin, and an M.A. in Philosophy from Southern Evangelical Seminary. His expertise in these fields are a welcome addition to the faculty of ABC!
