Alaska Bible College was recently invited to have an extension campus at Hiland Mountain Correctional Facility. Hiland has capacity of 400 prisoners. A 28-bed wing has been designated for Christian Education. Inmates will apply to be housed in this wing of the facility so that they can pursue Christian education full-time. ABC will provide the “for credit” training.
We praise the Lord that He has provided for ABC an opportunity to reach and train this often-forgotten and unreached people group. “And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?…Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me” (Matthew 25:39-40, ESV).
