A major purpose and passion of Alaska Bible College is to train Alaskans to reach Alaskans and the world! This eternal work cannot happen without you. ABC needs your intercession! One of the songs that the people of Israel sang while journeying up the hill to Jerusalem was Psalm 127. The first verse of this song is the reason we long for your intercession. “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.” ABC will fail without the faithful, fervent prayer of you, His people! The obstacles are too big and the mission unsustainable without the moment by moment enabling power of God “building” through us and in spite of us, at times! Will you pray for us?
This Fall, Alaska Bible College has an equivalent of 34 full-time students with a total student population of 44. This is the largest enrollment for us in many years! Another encouraging trend is that 26 of these students are in our four-year Bachelor of Bible and Christian Ministries program. Your partnership with us to train a new generation of servant leaders with Christ-like character to reach Alaska and beyond is bearing much fruit. With the increase of students, we have also had the joy of increasing our scholarships for students who qualify. Our scholarship fund is in need of $30,000.00 to meet the scholarships that we want to fund for our students for the 2017-2018 school year.
